Curt Prystupa started in the fiberglass swimming pool business in 1985 in the Tampa Bay Florida area starting in sales and construction (installing) of the fiberglass pools. He has been a Florida certified residential swimming pool contractor since 1993.
Curt installed over 4,000 residential fiberglass pools throughout central Florida.
In 1995 he founded a national brand of one piece fiberglass pools called Sun Fiberglass Pools which became one of the leading brands of fiberglass pools in the marketplace today responsible for creating over 40 designs and selling the pools throughout North America and the Caribbean.
In 2015 he helped the trade association APSP create a Fiberglass Pool Manufacturing Council being the council’s first Chairman. This council has created the best installation practices for the industry, started education programs for the trade association, created guidelines for maintenance, collaborated with the trade association for standard swimming pool codes for both the United States and Canada.
He has transitioned out of Sun Fiberglass Pools in 2018, and has created www.fiberglasspoolexpert.com to offer those years of experience to homeowners, manufacturers’, dealers and legal professionals about all aspects of fiberglass pools as an industry expert providing an unbiased opinion on their projects to help evaluate the condition of a typical backyard fiberglass pool project.
